A two day corporate crisis simulation that prepares students to lead in high pressure, high stakes situations.

  • Challenges the students’ ability to strategize through a turbulent situation, think on their feet, and demonstrate poise under pressure.

Networking events play a crucial role in fostering relationship building and networking among MS in Leadership students, faculty, and alumni. By sponsoring these events, participants gain the opportunity to connect, share experiences, and develop meaningful professional relationships. These interactions not only enhance personal growth and career opportunities but also strengthen the overall community and support network within the program.

  • Meet and Greet Happy Hour: meet alums, faculty and cohort members at a networking happy hour on campus.
  • Celebrate New Leaders: A dinner to celebrate the new graduates with program faculty.
  • Excellence in Leadership and Service Award: distinguishes an undergraduate and graduate student exhibiting outstanding leadership accomplishments.
  • Outstanding Leadership: presented to a UM alum who has demonstrated leadership excellence in their career.

The Johnson A. Edosomwan Leadership Institute (JAELI) partners with organizations to design leadership development programs tailored to the unique needs of each entity. These custom programs focus on highly customized, practical leadership experiences and target a comprehensive set of leadership competencies.

Each program's design includes a comprehensive diagnosis to identify client needs, ensuring that the content and delivery modality effectively address specific business challenges.
