Juris Doctor (JD)/MBA Dual Degree Program
Objective
The JD/MBA combines the Juris Doctor from Miami Law with the Master of Business Administration from Miami Herbert in a coordinated three-year program designed for students who want to lead where law and business intersect.
You’ll go beyond legal training to understand how companies operate, how deals are structured, how capital flows, and how strategic decisions are made. A carefully sequenced academic plan allows select credits to count toward both degrees, reducing redundancy while preserving depth. Students can begin MBA coursework as early as the summer after 1L, using hybrid delivery and summer offerings.
The result: two degrees, one coordinated strategy, and the judgment to operate confidently in the corporate business law environment.
